SUNSET YOUTH BASKETBALL
Sunset Youth Basketball is designed for players who are ready to level up beyond recreational leagues but aren't ready — or looking — for the full club basketball commitment. We offer competitive team play, quality coaching, and a structured season that develops real skills and prepares players for high school basketball — all within the Sunset community.

Competitive boys basketball for grades 4th-8th, including 8th grade High School prep team. Must live within the Sunset High School boundary and planning to attend Sunset High School to participate.
Competitive girls basketball for grades 4th-8th, including 8th grade High School prep team. Must live within the Sunset High School boundary and planning to attend Sunset High School to participate.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are looking for volunteers to join our youth board. Below are the open volunteer positions for the 2026-2027 season:
Uniform/Equipment Coordinator - handles uniform and equipment distribution and collection along with support from board of directors
Fundraising & Events - Handles Annual Sunset Youth Basketball fundraising event along with ongoing fundraising and event efforts throughout the season.
Social Media & Photography - Handles weekly posts on Apollo Youth Basketball instagram account representing both boys and girls teams of all ages equally according to program social media guidelines.

Sunset Youth Basketball is a 501(c)(3) organization. Please considering making a donation. Funds raised help in the following ways:
Gym space and operating costs
Scholarships for families in need
Program enhancements and player development
Reduced fees for all players
